Ways you can support us

Fill Your Boots is on again for 2017

Fill Your boots is happening again this year during Pinctober (breast cancer awareness month) .
Businesses register for a gumboot and have a fun work event that raises money to "Fill Your Boot" for your local breast cancer support service.  Breast Cancer Support Service Tauranga Trust has been supporting those with breast cancer in the Western Bay
of Plenty since 1991.

Need ideas to help you Fill Your Boot?

There were some really creative ways that businesses filled their boots last year and we have heard about other ideas that haven't been tried yet.  We thought we'd share them with you so you can get your creative juices flowing!

They've done it! Michelle and Toni went bald for breast cancer

Michelle and Toni did it!  On 5 October, Michelle's birthday at Klassic Kutz in the Goddard Centre, Tauranga all their hair came off.  These awesome women have knocked our socks off with their generosity.  Enjoy the pics of the hair shaving and the beautiful henna crowns - all done by the wonderful Klassic Kutz team.

You can still  honour Michelle and Toni  by donating - they wanted to support their local breast cancer support service by doing this for us and donations will be accepted until the end of the month.

Two inspiring women!

Donations & Bequests

Breast Cancer Support Services Tauranga Trust is an independent charitable trust. We do not receive funding from Government, NZBCF or the Cancer Society. We rely on donations from the public, sponsors, grants from trusts and special events to support our free support and education programmes. If you would like to donate, just remember that no amount is too small, every dollar counts and we appreciate all donations! Donations of $5.00 or more are receipted and are eligible for a tax deduction.

Holding your own fundraiser

Holding a fundraising event will not only help us financially but it will also help us achieve one of our objectives of improved awareness and education. So show us your support by throwing your own fundraiser. Whether you want to host with friends, at work or school, Breast Cancer Support Service Tauranga Trust welcomes your support! Your event can be as simple or as creative as you want. You could encourage your work to have a pink breakfast, pink mufti day, sell pink muffins, hold a quiz night, or host a girls' night in - the options are endless. Give us a call at the office if you'd like some help with ideas!

Sponsorship

The sponsorship that businesses in the Western Bay of Plenty can provide is so important for us. Sponsorship allows us to work with businesses in a way that supports our organisation and allows us to publicly recognise that support. We are a well established charity and our funds all stay in this community. We are always looking for new sponsors and welcome the opportunity to talk with you about how we can work together.

Volunteers

There is always a need for volunteers to assist us in providing support and care for those with Breast Cancer.

See our Vacancies page for more information.

Merchandise
