We're still here for you

Some services on hold but we're still here

Updated 1.34pm, 25/3/20

With the country going into lockdown from 11.59pm on Wedensday 25 March 2020, there needs to be some changes to our services.

We are aware that for those who are having treatment or surgery for breast cancer these are challenging circumstances at a time when life is already very challenging.

The most important thing for you to know is that we are still providing emotional support and information by phone, email and text.  If you need to talk to us you can.  Just call us on 027 571 3346 any time between 9-1 Monday to Friday.

We are also still offering our Helping Hands service and can link you up with a counsellor who can provide a counselling service using virtual tools.  This could be telephone, skype, zoom or some other on line tool.

We are here for new referrals and you can self refer or refer patients by calling us - 027 5713346 or emailing us -

support@breastcancerbop.org.nz

We are also able to post out mepitel for those who require it for their radiation treatment.  Again, just contact us to arrange this.

We are unable to provide the following services until further notice:

  • All groups, coffee mornings and workshops
  • Oncology Massage services
  • Our chemo ward roster is on hold
  • Dinner Delivery service
  • Rest & Recovery service

Please take care of yourselves, staff at home and stay safe.
